Best Dog Answers was put together so that every dog owner could have access to informative articles in both the training and health and wellness areas. During my years of training dogs both for police departments and for civilian pet owners, one thing is in common between both of them. They didn’t have any clear concise guidance on how to train their dog or how to maintain the training after the dog was trained. At Best Dog Answers you will receive the information in a step by step/by the numbers manner. All the instruction is clear and very easy to understand and execute. We realize that you can’t walk before you can crawl and we adopt that philosophy here. You can’t expect your dog to do something they haven’t been taught yet. Here we will give you the tools you need to achieve success in training your dog the safest, quickest and most reliable way. We hope you enjoy this site and we look forward to hearing from you.
About the Trainer
Jim was in the Military Working Dog Program in the US Army for sixteen years and served as a trainer/training supervisor. After retirement, he pursued a career in the civilian sector as a Police Dog Trainer for multiple police departments nationwide. All the dogs that he trained met the standards and were nationally certified through the North American Police Work Dog Association (NAPWDA).
He has spent the last-twenty four years of his life working, studying and applying various training methodologies learned from around the world on the proper way of training dogs. He has applied the studies of animal behaviors and genetic drives to incorporate a truly effective humane way to get the best results out of training your dog.
